Cluster Dies!!!
Hey guys, i have a slight electrical problem with my 2007 Dakota 3.7, its only happened twice within a month or so, but both times its when i press the brake and turn on my left turn signal, my truck dings and all the gauges die and a bunch of lights come on, it seems to come back when I restart the truck, but after awhile of driving, maybe over 45 minutes i can notice my left signal getting slower and slower with every activation, the the entire thing gives out and when i activate my left signal it alternates rather rapidly between left and right signals until it gives up and activates the RIGHT signal light when i have the left signal activated, the right signal works fine with no troubles, its just my left signal, WTF IS THIS???

Welcome to DF. First thing to check is your battery. If it is original it's about time for it to give up the ghost, five years is about all you get. Don't be fooled by the fact that it still starts the truck. A bad cell or weak battery will not complete the electrical circuit needed for the electronics to function properly. Funny stuff happening at the cluster is usally an indicator that the battery is on its way out. Local Auto Zones, etc will usually load test them for free.

Had some wierd issue a few days ago too.
The turn signal would "stick" on (would not turn-off when I returned the lever to center.) Then it decided to not work at all. Then it worked fine. Repeated that cycle a few times over the course of the next few days (seemed to happen when it rained.)
I also had an issue driving home 2 weeks ago where my wife could not roll-up the passenger window and the thing hesitated (took about 2-3 seconds to show any response to pedal press when I went to pass.)
So I took it to the dealership and they replaced the multifunction lever (the turn-signal/wiper thing.) They also replaced the master window switch on the driver side and since it was at about 28K miles, I had em do the top spark plugs too while it was in. So far so good!
