Default I caught the rotozip bug...and slash cut my bedsides

Holy f*ck, I actually did it. There is no turning back now....

It started yesterday with the bumper.

Then, this morning, I woke up to an inch of snow....and continued the mission.

Brave man; to cut into your truck. I think it would take me a bit yet before I did that.

looks good! especially with aggressive tires like that...I bet the first cut was scary as hell!

I'm in the middle of fabricating the new tube bumpers for the front and back. The slash cut bedsides will look a whole lot better with the new bumper and the removal of the spare tire from underneath the bed.

Reminds me of a time when I cut into the fenders of a car I had to install side marker lights. As soon as i hit the paint with the dremel there was no turning back.

The bedsides look good, although I think I would've brought the cut to match cleaner with where the bumper starts.
