frost on the inside of windshield
What would cause frost on the inside of my windshield? The past few nights I've had frost on the inside of my windshield when I come out from work. There is more frost build up on the inside than the outside. I've already replaced the door seals on my driver side. They would leak during a good rain.
You have excessive moisture inside the cab possibly coming from wet carpet padding underneath the carpet if the seals were leaking. Remove the carpet and lay upside down in bright sunshine for the weekend and it should dry out. Otherwise the next problem you'll have it the awful smell of mold and mildew.
I would agree excess moisture in the truck. Head to Wallymart of Target and get one of the "Damprid" buckets until you find where the leak is coming from. Do you have bad sinuses that cause excess mouth breathing?
It happens all the time around here when you leave your hockey bag in the cab and then the sun warms up the interior. Crack the windows a bit to let the moisture out - and the bag doesn't smell as bad either!
Seriously, what they said about the wet carpets!
