Another AT tire that you may want to look at is the Cooper at/3 it is a very aggresive looking a/t and from other members post on this forum they seem to give great performance.

How do they handle on the pavement? (Noise, handling, mpg, etc.)

One of the guys that I work with has the at3s on his Silverado and loves them! says that they are good in just about all conditions including pavement and wet pavement... They look good on his stock Chevy too.

If I were in your position, I would roll the grabbers. They look similar to the BFG A/Ts and have plety of siping for rain and snow (if you have snow).

There are a couple of A/T tires that look more like mud terrains though, Goodyear Duratracs and the Cooper A/Ts. I have the duratracs: Absolutely love them.

I have the Hankooks and can personally say I would definitely buy them again. Great for offroading, but a very respectable on road tire as well. Where i have been pleasantly surprised is the performance of these tires on the conditions where mud tires are supposed to be bad at. They are good in snow, very good actually, pretty good on icy surfaces, and quite good in wet weather. I have run them year round for the last couple years and they work well in Canadian winters. Nuff said.

Minimal noise, handle excellent in comparison to my Firestone Destination LE's, no mpg loss and they weigh in @41 lbs each. I think my old tires were 37 lbs/tire. Got a couple of inches of snow here this afternoon and the tires performed well in an un-plowed lot

ive had the at2 grabbers for a few months now.
the pros...
ive towed my boat, driven some off road/dirt mild mud type (no crazy baja/mud bog stuff)while hunting both on dry & rainy days with no issues.
they seem to have good grip, handle well & the noise level isnt bad imo.
they aren't showing any premature wear yet.
the cons...
previously i had bridgestones w/ a milder tread & less rolling resistance.with the grabbers
my mpg dropped about 1-1.5 mpg cause these have more grip, but it is a fairly stout AT tire,to be expected i suppose.
the aggressive tread will grab & hold gravels in them then sling them out later while youre rolling.
all things considered im happy with them so far.good luck
