Ambient air temp sensor location?

Default Ambient air temp sensor location?

I've had my check engine light since i've owned my truck for an ambient air temp sensor and i was just curious where its located so i can change it and turn that engine light off for good oh and finally be able to use command start

So your telling me I made a very fancy Aluminum Bracket to hold that, when my truck doesnt even use it haha. I figured it had something todo with the airbags. I didnt drill a hole to bolt it back on when I did my custom rad support.

From what I hear, if you unplug it, your ac work start blowing really, really cold air...but the CEL does come on.

Default Dodge 2012 Journey

I have a 2012 Journey where this is the problem. I can probably take it in next week to get it fixed. If that is the case, could it lead to further problems until then? It currently reads -40 for the temp. Thank you.

Welcome to DF! If it is your ambient temp sensor only it should not cause any driveability issues. You might post this in the Journey section as this discussion pertains to Dodge Dakotas, though I'm sure these outdoor air temp systems may be the same.
