I forgot to mentioned the 245/70R17 as an option...
It's actually my spare tire size.

285/60R17 seems the winner to me since I wanna get a wider tire, I'll let u know how this ended up! Forget about the 265/70R17 since I ain't got not a leveling kit and a LK it's not for sale down here.

If the smaller and narrower (265/70 -17) tires won't work without a leveling kit, I'm not sure how you're going to get the larger & wider ones in there.

The leveling kit may not be for sale there, but I'll bet you could buy it on-line and get it shipped right to your door step. Money does wondrous things

What u r saying is that the 285/60R17 won't fit?
I did contact a retail seller at eBay and won't ship to Mexico, I don't know why

In this web site
http://www.equivalencias.info/neumaticos/

The 265/65 and the 285/60 looks pretty similar

There are lots of different sources for the leveling kits, or you could even get a welder/fabricator make a set for you there. Try places like e-bay and other distributors of these kits (there are different styles of the leveling kit also).

Use a "tire calculator" to see the differences in the various tire sizes - there are lots of these calculators on-line.

You're right, there isn't much difference between the 2 tire sizes - the 285/60-17 has a slightly small radius but is wider than the 265/70-17. I thought the 285 would have been quite a bit larger, sorry about that, but if the 265 won't fit without a leveling kit or lift, I don't believe the 285 will either. Because it's wider, it will probably rub more.

Just to clear it up a little, there are 3 sized tires mentioned by the OP.

He's looking to get 285/60/17, which is a bit shorter but wider than 265/65/17. Both will fit without rubbing, although we are unsure if the extra width of the 286/60/17 will cause any rub.

265/70/17, also mentioned, is taller than both of the above tires, which will most likely rub on stock suspension.

Check the classifieds on here too. Someone may be selling a kit for cheap and wont mind mailing to Mexico. Heck, I sell stuff on ebay all the time and have shipped to Mexico on numerous occasions. Don't know what the big deal is. This guy here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2006-2013-Do...fa5242&vxp=mtr

ships to Mexico....

Paypal is worldwide....I'm not sure where your getting that it's not available in Mexico.
