Bouncing front end
I have a 2007 Dakota SLT, 4.7 with 52,000 on it. The front rides like my old 77 Impala did years ago. I've read some of the threads on this problem, and sounds like a design flaw. Are there any replacement struts that can calm it down?

Yep, either Monroe or Rancho struts will solve your problem. OEM struts are junk.
Rancho will give a little more firm ride than the Monroe struts.
Rancho on mine, and absolutely love the ride. (Part # RS5757)

Leveling kits usually destroy ball joints and tie rods before the strut itself. OEM struts are pure junk and will go bad early in life with or without a leveling kit. I have heard of no one on here (3rd gen) having issues with the death wobble. I'm not sure that can happen if your only adding spacers on the struts. Maybe if someone did solid axle conversion and put a huge lift and huge tires on it, if not done correctly that could lead to death wobble.

The death wobble was a symptom on solid axle Rams, Jeeps. Usually a bad drag link, steering stabilizer, etc. I've never seen a "death wobble" on an independent suspension truck like our dakotas. Do what others say, replace the struts with new ones from Monroe and you'll be happy.
