In dash temperature question

Default In dash temperature question

I have an 08 Dakota and i was wondering if you could change the in dash temperature from Celius to ferinheight.

I have read at a few places that the dealership must correct it for you, unfortunately, by hooking up their computer to your engine's and making the change.

I'll never understand why this country did not fully commit to implementing the metric system here. I'm sure it had something to do with some government lobbyist group for some reason or another. The company I work for is half metric, half standard....it makes things so darn difficult because we are always having to convert from one system to the other. My conversion calculator is my most used tool...lol

You could always move to Canada, then you could chuck that calculator.(snicker)

No, I'm in Engineering (buildings) here in Canada and I'm always converting - 2x4, W10x32 beam, argh!

Metric is easier on paper, but hard to understand in the real world aka USA

Canadian,

Are you referring to the over head console Compass/Temperature computer? There should be a "US/M" button to change the display from U.S. to metric measurement units, located on the left side of the console, as per page 134 of the the Owner's Manual.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

I don't have the over head console. mine is in the screen that shows your trip and the odometer.
