Hey guys, I am looking for a Tonneau cover for my dodge, I cant afford brand new, so I am looking at used. I was wondering how far back in years can I go to find one that will fit?

For instance, buddy is selling a cover off of a 2007 Dakota.... will that fit?

 

2005-2011 Dakotas are essentially the same truck (just an updated front end, the bed should be the same). It should fit, granted you both have the same size bed. Just measure the box to be sure. Worst comes to worst, I bought my Extang Tonneau Cover from AutoAnything for $190 with the discount they give you.

 

Yeah, the 07 cover will fit your 09 provided that you both have either the quad cab or club cab.

and hopefully one of you don't have them blasted side rails, because those tonneau are slightly different if I recall correctly.
