Default Spark Plug Wires ?

I amout to reach 100K miles in my Dak and will be inveseting a small fortune into replacing many items under the hood.

One in particular are the spark plugs, which from what I've read everyone at DodgeForum.com recommends using either the OEM or copper onces.

But I also want to upgrade the ignition (spark plug) wires ... Normally I would go with MSD becuase we have local production facility in the area. Unfortunetly customer support notified me that they only have wires up to 2002.

Any suggestion as to what wires you would recommend ?
Also, what plugs have worked best for you ?

Our trucks don't have spark plug "wires"...the ignition coils sit directly on top of the plugs.

As for the plugs themselves, cant go wrong with OEM NGK.

With the dual spark plugs per cylinder, the 2008+ V8 Dakotas have sort-of wires to one of the sets of plugs.

However, between 2005-2007, erau is correct.

It sounds like the OEM ones have worked pretty well for you. Why not replace them with more of the same?

Nothing wrong with your suggestion for the older 3.9L V6 and 5.2L/5.9L V8 engines. However, no 4.7L V8 or 3.7L V6 has ever had a distributor cap from the factory. They have coil packs.

Just a FYI.

I am doing factory style coppers on the "top" set of my plugs when it comes time. Approaching 25k, so may do it soon. No plugs are better at conducting electricity than copper... unless of course you can find some gold plated ones.

Alot of people run Autolite 3923 Plugs, Thats what I Installed a few months back without any issues. They ran better then OEM.
Like most people have said, There are no Spark Plug wires (Not sure about the dual plugs per cylinder on 08+) But my 05 They Coil Pack is directly on top of each plug, You could replace the Coil Packs, If you plan to replace all that stuff.
