Big WTF after my nerf bar install. (PICS) Help Please.
Problem solved.
They were marked reverse. Left one actually needed to go on right side and vice versa.
It turns out that one side was just a tad longer than the other, but couldn't tell just by looking at it the way they're bent.
But the kit did come missing 3 short bolts and one long one as well as I had to go buy a tap kit since one of their welds was too close to screw hole and it was preventing it from screwing in right. GRRR
Thanks for the input anyway!

The way I see it, the bar is mounted to the part of the bracket that's secured to the body mount (the other piece of the bracket is just a diagonal support member that's attached to the frame). With this arrangement, there is no adjustment possible, so, in your shoes, here's what I think:
- The mounting brackets for that bar are either wrong, or there's a part missing for the front bracket. The seller should send you the proper bracket or additional piece. This additional piece would be a stand-off that would bolt to the bar and then the bar with this stand-off would attach to the current bracket. This stand-off would have a hole in one end where the bar mounting bolt would go, and then, there would most likely be a captive nut at the other end that would fit against the mounting bracket that you currently have bolted to the front body mounts.
- If the seller doesn't have anything else, you can either get a new bracket made, or a stand-off made, or send the bar back. You should be able to lodge a complaint and at least get some of your money back that you could use to make a new bracket or adapter.
- None of this is difficult, but you did pay for product that fit and to adapt it, will cost you some cash.
