I need to replace my rear bumper on my 2005 dodge Dakota ST. Ill probably end up buying a bumper and swapping over the pads, lights, and whatnot.... my question is, how do I remove the black step pad from my old bumper to switch it to the new one? I saw the clips underneath but was wondering if there was a trick to removing them.

Squeeze and push.

 

Like said above, there is alot of "Squeeze" clips It would be easiest to remove it off the truck, then take the pads off. Just dont forget to remove the License plate Lights and Housings

 

Take the bumper off, turn it over and look at how it is attached. Pretty self explanatory when you see it.
