Default Problem with brakes

I have a 2008 4x4 slt. I recently had a leveling kit, tires, and rims installed. My problem has been with the brakes. This problem occurred before everything was installed. When I go to stop, if I brake hard the noise doesn't occur but when I brake softly there is a noise that is definitely noticeable and it happens every 360 degrees. Obviously it is a problem with the brakes but I don't know what and I don't know what to do about it. I would appreciate any help from fellow members. Thanks!

Front or rear? Left side, right side? Is it accompanied by any brake pedal pulsation? When was the last time the brakes were inspected/serviced? Have you done anything on your own to diagnose the problem? Kinda hard to tell you anything definitive with just "I got a noise from my brakes, what is it?" type of question. You are aware brake pads have wear indicators that make noise when the pads are worn down to a point that requires replacement, right? I would suggest doing some investigation yourself sincethe truck is with you. You could start with the afformentioned inspection. Maybe a tire rotation to see if it moves to a different area. Kinda hard to tell you anything though with the lack of pertinent info.
