Can I get a confirmation from you guys;
My 2006 Dak Quad Cab 4wd SLT is running 245/70/16 I can switch to 265/70/16 just fine, on the same rims, with no additional work required right? Basically, I can buy them and toss them on as if they were the 245/70/16? I am going to toss some General Grabber AT/2 on.

according to my build sheet, the following:

TVFS P245/70R16 BSW On/Off Road Tires
TZAP Goodyear Brand Tires
WDQP 16" Steel Spare Wheel
WD1S 16X8.0 Cast Aluminum Wheels

Almost 1" wider and just at 1" taller. You should be fine. You could also read this and get some good info.

Thanks! Reason I ask is because the General Grabber AT/2 have the peak snow rating on these size, but not the stock size that came for my truck. Most of the time I am farting around the city, so no big deal, but a few times a season, I am up in northern Ontario, and that extra little bit just makes the drive easier.
If you are eventually planning on doing a leveling kit, do a 265/75/16 tire size. Here is a picture of when I had that size tire on a 2" leveling kit.

265/70/16 will fit on the 16x8 alloys perfectly, nothing whatsoever to worry about.
FYI, your speedometer will be a little off due to the larger tire height. It will not hurt the truck at all.

i have an 06 quad slt as well. Stock i had the 17" option so i started with 265/70-17 which is 1" (31.6 vs 30.6) more than what your getting and it was fine. So you'll definitely be good to go with those. And yes Dakotaff is correct, my speedo is off about 1.8mph so your should be around there if im not mistaken
I have been looking at the BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/AŽ KO, but it says its LT tire. So for my tire size, 245/70/16, it says LT. Will a light truck tire fit just as fine as the stock passenger 245 as stated by Dodge? When I goto the BF Goodrich website, put in my truck info, it doesn't even offer up these tires.
