Default Vibration when accelerating

So lately my Dak has had this vibration when I accelerate. I can feel it in the steering wheel as well. So today I took a look under the truck and found this. I am not much of a technical guy so I'm not sure if this is normal or not or if this could be the prob. image-1.jpgimage-2.jpg

Leaky boot = compromised cv axle. You can get a whole axle for about $60. Took me maybe an hour or so to replace mine.

I just checked the power steering fluid and it was pretty much empty. That's probably why it went bad I'm guessing. Also another prob I encountered at least twice was when I tried starting my truck it cranks about twice and does not start but the cluster lights are all on its the second time I try to turn the key when my truck starts. Bad starter?

That looks more like a tie rod boot to me.

Oh crap, your right. I looked at one end, not the other. Disregard my comment. That's the inner tie rod boot. No wonder your steering fluid was gone. You need at least a new inner tie rod and maybe a new rack if it burned up.

What do you guys think about the other prob? I encountered at least twice was when I tried starting my truck it cranks about twice and does not start but the cluster lights are all on its the second attempt that my truck starts. Bad starter?
