Default Warning lights flash on and off

I have a 2006 Dodge Dakota. The dash board warning lights flash on and off and the bells sound as well. Anyone know what would be causing this.

Welcome to DF. I will move this to the correct section. Please provide some more info so we can assist you better. Engine size, mileage, 4x4? etc, and specifically which warning lights? First thing though, how is the battery and connections? These trucks do all sorts of weird things when the battery starts getting weak.

That's happened to me a couple times, once it was battery problems and once it was a glitch with the" lost wheel distance" but yea try to get some more info for us.

It could easily be the battery connections as jkeaton said, it could be that "lost wheel distance" code that happens every so often to a few people. We'll need to know if its still flashing, does it do it all the time, how long has it done it, and if/when it stops, does it leave a check engine light?

My truck did something like that once that I can remember. The A/C light kept flashing. Turned out the battery was going bad. And confirmed that when I had to have it jumped 2 times.
