Default Make it look nasty!

Hey y'all,
I plan on lifting and widening my '07 Dakota SLT. I want a bit of a lift, big nasty tires and some body mods. But I figure I can't lift it without widening it first, cause it'd look like silly Tacoma with a lift that looks too top heavy. Does anyone have any recomendations for widening? I know I can put tire spacers on, but I don't know what brand or how far out to go. Also, can I put tire spacers on myself? Any help is always appreciate!

You are limited for widening. Just remember if you put spacers on the front it puts a heck of alot more stress on the front end parts. That along with spacers and big nasty tires will shorten the life of the tie rods and ball joints significantly. The front end parts on these trucks are the weak link.

If you want to widen it the real way your looking at about 5000 bucks worth of custom work lol.
or wider offset wheels on the cheap...

This is probably the best bang for your buck. I would go with different wheels rather than spacers (I've never been a big fan of spacers), but either one will work.
