Does anyone know if a double din stereo will fit in the 2011 Dakota. It does just have the square radio, rather than the one with the ***** sticking out. Metra carries the kit 99-6511 double din install kit, just not sure because crutchfield still says it is a modified fit. If anyone has done it and wants to chime in or send pictures of the 2008+ double din stereos or what they used or how they made it work.

Awesome. So was there a brace you had to trim behind it so things would work? Cause that's what I seem to be reading.

 

I had mine installed by the shop I bought it from, so I don't know if they trimmed anything.
