All I am running is a 77 Series KN, a MBRP Cool Duals Exhaust System, a HIPoTek 68.5 mm TB and the Towing Tune from SC running on a min of 91 octane fuel. Honestly I dont think any of that really helped though as it was roughyl getting the same before all the upgrades. It just makes it a bit more responsive as well as a change in the power bands. I really need to get on a dyno
my truck is bone stock. with a K/N drop in filter and i have my exaust taken off right before the muffler with a turn down on it. because i was told the exaust is very restrictive. plan on doing a full exaust. just havent got around to it yet. im running slightly bigger tires. but im averaging about 250-280 miles to a tank of gas. with mostly highway driving.

im a mechanic. so my truck is very well maintained. and tire pressures are always checked every couple weeks.

I just did an 800-mile trip with a combination of freeway, in-town, and off-road driving and I was thrilled to average 12.9mpg. My "normal" average is right at 10.7mpg.

I had an 05 Dakota with the 16" wheel option and could squeeze 21.5mpg on steady interstate.

I now have a 2011 with the 18" wheel option and I've never gotten better than 19.6.

Other than that both trucks were exactly the same. 4.7, quad cab, 2wd, 3.92 gear, auto
I know this wasnt directed at me, but I have the 18s with the 3.55s, 4x4, and the 4.7

I have the 18" wheels, 4.7, 3.55 gears and 4x4. 65-70 MPH driving steady, slowing down to 45 and back up for small towns, the highest I ever got was 19.9 MPG before I got my Superchips.

With Superchips, one time I got 22.7 MPG on a long, 65-70 MPH drive.

Those larger tires will hurt your highway mileage a little.
