Default Slamming steering wheel all the way to left/right?

What will happen if you turn your steering wheel all the way to theleft/right, let off just a bit, than slam it hard left or right?

I have a dash cam which records audio and video.

I got my alignment checked and the while the technician was on the testdrive he did just that as he stated, "turn the wheel, slam it, thenforget." As well as talking $hit about my truck which was quite funny.Someone apparently said I have a turbo in my truck? My concern is that he may have damaged my steering linkage or something.

Here is video of the both test drives, before alignment and after, driven by same technician. Go to about 5mins and that's when he slams the steering wheel in part 2.

Please give me feedback if you think this may cause damage or what should I do?

pretty unprofessional shop..I wouldn't be concerned but definitely wouldn't return there. Your truck sounds sick btw especially on downshifts

Probably nothing to worry about. I would not be going to that place anymore.

No damage done as the rack limits itself when you do that...but I would flood YouTube and facebook about that shop and hopefully make them lose business or at least let go some employees. Very unprofessional!

Dumbasses... no issues, sounds like he just hi t the bump stops. I wouldnt go back; however I may ask to talk to the manager and ask if all customer vehicles are treated that way. He may even refund ya or try ot make ya happy. Yes I said try only because nothing would make me real happy after those cool kid tricks even if no damage was done.

Btw what brand dash cam is that?

That "technician" doesn't seem too bright, especially when I assume the dash camera is in plain sight.

Like others said, it's unlikely he did any damage, but I can't think of any reason he would do that. I wouldn't go back there.

I would take the video and go complain to the shop.
I have a dash cam in my truck. But I dont worry about the shop I take it to, to much, since my parents have taken there cars there for years, and we used to take our old Dak there. Only things ive had a issue with was grease on my fender (hand print) and them not fully latching my hood once. But if I come back and say something is wrong/not right they will fix it free if its something small. They have re-bleed my brakes before for free.

But like other have said, Why would he do that at all? I know when I turn full lock the side im turning to dips slightly. But I dont slam it to try to break ****.

I bought my dash cam on Ebay, I did a lot of research on all the china brands and which ones are fake or not. The link I'm providing is the one I have and from the same seller. So your getting the exact one I have.

I did contact the manager regarding this issue and he blew me off. He stated his technician has worked their for over 6yrs and he trust him and knows he wouldn't do that. Wouldn't help me out at all. Just blew me off. I contacted Corporate and they said they will contact the manager to see what they can work out. She said that's all she could do. So end result, never doing business there again.
