It was like 5$ total difference than rockauto and summit has free shipping. The shipping at rock auto woulda been more.

Yeah, this is true. Rock auto has really good prices on some things but shipping sometimes erases any savings. I find that the shipping costs as much as 90% of the parts cost. I will go on ebay many times and find the same thing at the same price with free shipping.

I didn't use the.discount code, wasn't aware there was one anymore.

Well now I'm looking for the inner boots as one ripped in the process of removing and I'm sure the other side will break too. SO I I bought a pair off ebay for 20$ and then the next day the listing was removed and I called ebay and they said they removed it cuz it violated their policy, not for fraudulent reasons. I tried contacting seller via the email that is listed on the paypal order form. So, I might get em, or I might not. I found another set on ebay with same part number and they say they are only for a 01-03 but, It gave me measurements. So ill measure my old ones to verify. I'm only doing That route if I don't get the ones I bought. And yes, ebay will refund the money if I don't receive em. WIsh me luck... Lol

From experience, I doubt that you'll hear from that seller again & I wouldn't advise chasing after someone that ebay "evicted" from their site - there's usually a pretty good reason but they won't share it with you. I'd wait for a few days (about the time it would take to get the shipment) and then get ebay to refund your money. You might consider going through the complaint registration right now with ebay so that everything's primed. This is an example of why I seldom shop on ebay anymore, there are a lot of places with a good rep that will sell you the same product for close to the same price (plus or minus a few bucks) and many of them offer free shipping or at least reasonable ground based shipping in the continental US - this same thing is starting to apply to shipping to Canada.

While you're waiting, you can patch the old boots temporarily using the black windshield urethane caulking - it pretty much sticks to anything as long as you clean it and rough it up a bit.

Well their listing was up for over a week or So and it shows they sold like 20 of em. Plus, there's paypal that will refund my money. I just received the outers from summit. Now I must wait for the inners. Ebay is generally very good, never really had problems with the 60+ purchases I have made on there. They only said the ad was removed, not their store. I don't know the name of the store tho to lookj it up. I only physically emailed em, an didn't message them on ebay. I just can't find the boots!!! this isn't my daily so I don't need to patch em up right now.

It's been a while since I used ebay, but I recall that all transactions are logged. You must have some type of account with them (even as a buyer), so if you log into that account (I think you logged into "my ebay") and there you should see the item and seller details, so you should be able to pick up the guys ebay store. Now ebay & paypal are essentially one outfit & if you payed via paypal, log into your account there and you'll find the same information. If you correspond with the seller privately, ebay doesn't take that into account when you file a grievance, so I'd do it through them. If it were me and over a week had gone by, I'd certainly be filing a grievance or at least talking to someone in ebay or paypal about this - if you sit on it too long, you'll find their interest starting to wane as well.

I know all about getting my money back through paypal. It showd that it sold like 15-30 other ones. So I assume that I would get it for sure. But, I'm looking up backup ones if I don't get this one. But, I can't find any! dealer only sells them with the inner tie rod.
