So my truck apparently came with keyless entry factory, but the keys have been changed to plains keys(no remote lock) How would I go about replacing the remote key fobs?

Well, first you have to buy replacement key FOB's. Normally ebay is your best bet. This is what they look like:

Then you have to get them cut to match your existing key then you have to get the FOB programmed which a dealer or locksmith can do. Thats pretty much it.

Edit: Crap, moved to the 3rd gen Ram instead of 3rd gen Dakota....Mod could you please move to the 3rd gen Dakota section?

I know some locksmiths won't attempt to program a key for you unless you buy the key from them.
And I'd bet that a dealer wouldn't touch an Ebay key either.
