Mid-Low Settings on Heater/Blower not working. Need Help ASAP
I'd guarantee its the resistor. My old Dakota did the same thing and it was the resistor. You will eventually lose the highest blower setting as well. Its a cheap fix, $15-20 maybe even less. To replace it shouldn't only take 30 minuets or less. The location I quoted below from the manual.
Thanks everyone for your help! I fixed it this morning and it was indeed the resistor as I posted a link to the part previously. This task really sucked for someone with big hands. Autozone had the best price on the part at $10.47 w/ lifetime warranty. If anyone else ever runs into this problem as I did, basically the resistor is on the right side when you pull down the glove box. It is held in by 2 torx bolts which sucked for me and my big hands.
