Been rummaging around to see if I can figure out how to do this. I'm sure it can be done, but not sure how complex it is.

I don't suspect the plumbing is that hard, nor rather the basic replacement of the hydraulic and ABS controller. I don't know if the ECU has a clue about the ABS system though, nor how much of a hassle the front Hub work is, as well as wiring to the controller

Anyone tried this?

It could be possible if you had a donor truck to take the parts off of. They are all interchangeable technically, but you need the right combo of parts for it to work properly.

 

IMO, the front wheels pulsing during a rear end skid in a truck is a disturbing experience.

 

When I went to trucking school, one of the first things we learned was that the locked wheels tend to lead--if you lock up the rear axle(s) those wheels will slide sideways--until they are running in front of the vehicle going down the road.

While 4 wheel ABS may be a nice idea, it isn't (my opinion) that important. What is important is that those rear brakes don't lock up--which is why they only put ABS on the rear axle. TNtech will tell you, ABS isn't simple, it's sophisticate sensors and controllers. F*** it up and you could have some real problems.
