4WD dry pavement usage question
I've noticed this in a couple recent threads now that winter is here, and so I was wondering, what is it about using 4WD on dry pavement that can supposedly destroy your transfer case? And I do know about the binding caused by making a tight turn on dry pavement in 4WD but a few people have said normal driving on dry pavement can cause problems too.
Thanks in advance,
Tommy

And so much more information out there...Google is your friend here.
Not sure why you think all four wheels turning at the same pace would be good on dry pavement.
Something has to give, you'll find your weak link...

They used to have these stickers more often, next to the engagement lever. Now that most 4X4 systems have gone to ***** (electronic) or buttons, the warning is actually just in the owner's manual.
