Default Need help!!!!

So my fantastic dogs decided to chew up my keys. They chewed off on of the chips on the internal board, now my keyless entry doesn't work. Can someone take a close up picture of the missing chip so I can purchase it and repair the board? Thanks https://i.imgur.com/0rHJawP.jpg

unfortunately, the chip doesn't have anything written on it that i can see without taking off that same chip on mine. Sorry, but it looks like you'll need to buy new keys if you want the keyless entry to work again.

There will be a number of chips on the circuit board, but even if you were to replace all of them perfectly, the fob still wouldn't work. It would need to be set up with the proper security code that your truck PCM will recognize, and new chips will be blank. You'll need equipment similar to what the dealership has to be able to program and synchronize the fogs to the PCM. If you're able to fix your chewed up fobs, I don't think you'll save a whole bunch - you'll still need to pay the dealership for the programming.

Alfons, you are 50% correct. the major one that is missing is that little three pin one, which doesn't have any markings, the other three that were chewed off were resisters or diodes. hard to say due to their lack of markings also. the programming is still in the bigger chip, the 20 pin one. But like i said, since there are no markings, unless you can stumble upon a diagram showing you what the chip actually is, you need new keys, which is where Alfons has it spot on in needing to get programmed at the dealer.
