O.K., this might sound like a silly question... But.. As you say all other lights, and I'm assuming that includes the Front Left turn signal are working...

Are you certain you have the correct bulb for the Turn/Brake light?

Sounds like it may be a bad ground, but you have to check.
Have you checked for both power and ground at the socket? Test light or multimeter?
