Default Does your truck scratch easy??????

I keep noticing that my truck has a lot of small scratches, some on the box that were made when loading stuff on to it, others are just really fine scratches made probably by rocks or other flying things.

last year year I noticed that on the box some of the clear coat was peeling. Can this become a problem in the future?

I know it's a truck and these things happen but I don't see a lot of scratches on any of my friends cars or trucks ( maybe they just don't use it right ) so it got me to woundering. Could I have just could a bad factory paint job or something?

Also is there an inexpensive fix for the scratches?

Actually, there is a Doctor that seems to work pretty well. Any of the products that fill in the clear-coat seem to hide those little scratches.

i started driving in 1965. i have found the more you try to take good care of a truck. the more people cause you trouble. the last truck i bought i picked out one with rusted rear fenders. thinking that it was sold cause of the rust and that the drivetrain might not be in bad shape. i found this to be true. the engine, trans ect are very good.

This is what those spray in bed-liners are good for.

Spray a new one in right before you sell it so it looks new again.... The bed of my truck is scratched up. Bricks, dirt and lumber can do that to a girl.

I bought a can of bed liner last year and never got around to it. This spring I am going to rip out the plastic one and do it.
