This is what I was talking about! My console one stays on all the time, but the dash one is set to only on when ignition is on because I have my GPS hooked directly to it. You can switch the dash on to always on as well

I was wrong. My centre console is always hot. I plugged my phone charger in, and it came on

Ok so I finally got around to doing a more thorough check, I checked in 3 different spots on the wiring, and only got .03 on the voltmeter. In order to check further l have to take of the plastic under ware the steering wheel is, if this sound right? Then trace the wire from there.

If the wiring is bad what do I do from there. Also the tape on the wire in the pic was just to hold the wrap around the wires down.

So after trying to the wires further. I could no long follow them without removing alot of things, so is there any possibility of wiring an after market power outlet in place of that one? It would be so much easier.

Of course if its easier to trace I would rather do that, if anyone with some knowledge can help me figure out how to trace the wires, I would be open to continuing the search!
