I'm looking to purchase just the leveling kit right now. I'm gonna get 265-75-16 and I want to lift the front so it doesn't rub (currently has 255-70-16). Now, what leveling kit is good? And what ones are bad? I'm only looking for the kind that goes on top of the strut, not any kind that gets inserted inside the strut. Send me links of good ones for under 100$? There's tons on ebay but Idk if I Would trust them....

I bought the rough country 2.5" level/lift kit. Comes with good strut extensions, heavy duty rear shocks, blocks and U-bolts. Well worth it. Rounds everything out very well. Doesn't rub with 285/75r17. I have very high offset rims though.

WEll I don't have the money for the rear at this time. My parents are helping me pay for tires since I'm in school cuz the current ones are old,dryrotted, and don't even match. But I'm buying the leveling kit to get the tires I want on It. I'll do the rear someday however. (I also have a 100$ gift card at dodge for alignments So that part is covered). SO I'm only looking at getting a 2", not a 2.5". I can do the strut spacer easily, and I can get the blocks someday. Do You need special shocks for the rear with a 2" lift? I noticed roughcountry comes with a pair, but is it needed? or are those the same as the stock ones? cuz if you're doing your lift in the rear, you might as well replace the shocks.

And longer shocks for a lifter rear are not necessary but the ones from rough country are longer by 1.5" to match the lifted rear. Their part number is 20130 and you have to order them on the phone since they are not posted on their website.
YEah I just don't know what ones are better. SOme are nylon, then there are the steel ones and then there are the aluminum ones I posted in the second post/comment.
