vibration while breaking

I have been noticing my 06 Dakota shaking or pulsing when I apply the breaks. Seems worse going down hills.
A month ago I replaced the rear breaks, thinking maybe that was the problem. No luck.
Friend of mine said warped rotors. Didn't think that was possible, because they were replaced 10,000 miles ago. But replaced the rotors and pads today. No luck.
Could tires be causing it? Tie rods? Ball joints?
Truck has 47,000 miles.
Any suggestions

Shaking or pulsing?
If it's shaking, as in a death wobble, it would most likely be suspension/steering components going bad. Could be bad front axle u-joints if it's a 4X4. I just replaced the u-joints in my 07 Ram because one went bad and cause a death wobble at 60MPH.
You feel pulsing through the brake pedal when you have warpped rotors. Even though you have replaced the rotors it would still be a good idea to check for run out.

Where are you getting your rotors from? I've gotten several brand new ones from advance auto (wearever is their own brand) that came warped or warped soon after putting them on.
Try putting a jack under the LCA on either side and getting the wheel off the ground. Grab the tire and push left/right and then up/down and you should be able to tell if a ball joint is going.
Could you be a little more specific than vibration?
