Truck Idles from 1500 to 2000 RPM when I start it. goes up and down. Once i hold the gas in for awhile it goes to normal which is like 800 RPM. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue.
What he said...plus, while you're cleaning your throttle body, make sure the spring lever isn't gunked up or broken, in addition to making sure that the throttle body "flapper" closes all the way.
From what I have heard this is pretty common among dodge Dakotas. I have read it isn't a problem but I have also read you can clean what the guy said above me to help
