Default superchips question

Finally got the flashpaq, feeling a bit overwhelmed withthe options. I want to feel the power gains as ill be on a 100 km drive later. so should I fill up with 91 and use the 91 option for best power gains. I've never ran anything but 87 will that effect anything? In a few days I have a 900 km drive and want to test out the millage gains, thinking the tow setting is recommended from what I've read here? Switching back to 87 for that. Any advice for me?

Tons of threads available if you search.

Start reading about torque management: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...tm-tuning.html

I started out with the 87 performance tune. Was good for awhile. Then switched to tow and stuck with it. Loved how it extended the shift times. Tow tune requires 91 or better. I used 87 and never experienced any issues with the tow tune. Mileage tune is a waste. Makes the truck sso flat, any potential mileage gains are negated by having to mash the go pedal to get anywhere. IMO, start with the 87 performance tune, drive it for awhile and get used to how it runs, shifts, etc. Then switch to tow and drive it for awhile. It's all personal preference at this point.

I ended up sticking with the 87 tune, and forget any mileage gains.
