Before you weld up those uniball cups, i would flip them over. You generally always want the machined end of the cup on the load bearing side. So with the adjustable nut facing down. The weight of the truck is always being applied upwards into the stronger side of the cup vs. Possibly blowing out that nut....ive seen it happen.

And are you planning on just cutting out part of the strut bucket for the coilovers to fit?
