Default Adding Power Door Locks- New to forum

I am new here..... Hope every one is well...

So, I just picked up a 2011 Dodge Dakota ST ext cab V6 4z2 with 11K from a dealer in Boise, ID....Truck had some kinda wiring issue or transmission issue and wires burned when it had 2.78k in 2011

Truck now has 11.8K and I need to add power locks and an alarm. I am presuming this won't bring back the other issue from before... Also how hard is this to do and are these trucks pre wired for power locks and windows and such???

I was quoted $540 to put this stuff on by car toys and can't find anything really online or even kits really

I got such a kick butt deal on it, but need to get it settled so i can use it to commute back and forth to Chemo and such

Also looking at factory radio swap as well

Thanks

Welcome. Good luck. You need to add power locks and an alarm before you can use it to commmute? Why? Factory radio swap? You mean swap your factory radio for another factory radio? Please elaborate.

$540 isn't bad to add power locks and an alarm, the labor is worth it

I had an 06 Ram before my Dakota without power locks. I bought some for like 120 with keyless entry. And installed them myself in a few hours. This was back in like 07 so no idea where I found them or anything.
