Getting new exhaust and a true Dyno Tune for HemiBlue
So, I've been running this hemifever tune for a while, but I'm certain there is more in this truck that can be squeezed out with a full dyno tune..
Since my tune that Sean wrote for me, I have changed the gear ratio to 4.10s, added much lighter wheels and tires than the big ol 20s I had.. and I've put about 10,000 hard miles on it.
My appointment is for May 6th, and before that I will be re-doing the exhaust once again. I currently have headers into 2.5" per bank pipe that runs through 2 magnaflow highflow cats, from there it Ys into 3" borla XR-1 sportsman, which I love the sound of..
The cats are ruined now and I have a permanent catalyst efficiency code that I will have to get rid of before the tune. I suspect the tune had too much fueling on startup and that has caused the cats fail over time. So, I will be doing a new setup from the headers into a set of different style high flows that will fit in the space better, from there it will be a cross pipe into a true dual setup. I haven't decided on a set of mufflers to take the Borlas place yet...
