yes it does correlate... but 2" is not 2" of lift. I'd have to do the math, but I think that one is a 3" lift.

you gotta remember, you are pushing on the middle of the control arm, not the end. so when you extend the strut, the wheel's distance is further. think levers.

No. Think of the control arm as a lever. Push on the control arm a bit and it gets multiplied at the balljoint. That's how you get 8 ish inches of travel out of a 5 inch travel shock. Don't quote me on the numbers. I didn't measure anything to do the correct math.

yeah, that is worded a heck of a lot more like what I meant.
