I have a 2005 Dodge Dakota with a 4.7 in it I've had it for almost 2 years and had to replace the cam positioning sensor 4 times now does anybody know how I can get more life out of the sensor or a cause of Y it keeps going out

 

Buy an OEM sensor and stop going to Auto Zone for the $20 ones.
