Default got a P0452 code

This code popped up on me last week, (P0452 - EVAP Pressure Switch Stuck Closed) and I cleared it but it immediately came back. From my research I saw that someone else changed the evap leak detection pump for a fix - anyway part was only $26 so I have that. My question is what's the best way to change this thing? I can see it - it's on the top of the tank below the rear cab area. Drop the tank, or has anyone done this with tank in place?

I would drop the tank, a lot less work then the other options

it might be a little too tight with the tank in place to get to everything, and you might miss something.

Thanks for the advice Pierre, but I went ahead and did it with the tank in place. Couldn't see, but it turned out to be simple enough. I cleared the code and made 3 short trips today without a cel, so I'm calling it fixed. Evap leak detection pump is a Dorman 310-501.

Step 1. remove elecitrical pigtail. Squeeze and pull at the same time. It took all my strength to get it off.

Step 2 remove hose.

step 3 squeeze locking device and turn pump 1/4 turn clockwise and remove.

install is reverse of removal. that pigtail is a bitch to put back on also
