Default Air bag dash light

Does anyone know how to test the drivers and passenger seat sensors. The air bag light has been on for a few months now. It all started when I took the molding around the radio off to replace the HVAC bulbs. the light above the radio would come on if I had something in the passenger seat. But now it won't come on if something like a tool bag is in it and you can't make it come on with the air bag passenger seat on off switch. The light over the radio started going on and off when I removed the seat in the middle to put the console in. And we're can I get replacement sensors?

I'm pretty much sure that you can't do it.

Read this thread.

I have read that in the past. But if they can test it why can't we do it? Do they have something that plugs in somewhere, or do they check for voltage in the sensors? Or just how do they test them?

They have to use the Starscan Tool to do the weight calibration. They place precise weights on each of the four passenger seat weight sensors. Place a weight here, take the weight off, put another weight over there, and so on. It should take no more than 1/2 hour, but it's a dealer, and somehow they'll drag it out for an hour.
