I have a p0452 code on a*2006*dodge*dakota extended cab. I was told to try to replace the purge solenoid and Leak detection pump and then reset the code. Anyone know if that sounds right or would you go about it a different way? Thanks

 

The small leak is harder to find than a large leak. You can throw parts at it, or live with it until it turns into a large leak. This code can be a bitch sometimes, the cause could be as simple as a cracked hose.

I think the leak detection pump and solenoid are the same item. So, I'd agree with the advice given.
