Soco3087 yea it was hell knowing theres a problem but cant find out what. well i never showed any codes it started out once in a great moon then went to intermittent then it was evry little hill and stop i would just about to have pedal to floor to get moving or up hill the tranny shop said my tranny is known for problems so i got thinking maybe ill pick up a spare ha the joke was on me all the ones with in 100 miles of me either stuck in drive or reverse slips so that was a dead end idk how familiar you are with trannys but if you get underneath truck and on side of tranny there should be a stamp with number on it then can see if you have electronic converter and so forth but in the v8 i believe it should be 45rfe tranny in it witch i also believe has the lock up converter not 100% pos on this
