Without a tuner; it wouldnt be cost effective. You could do a chip which will be cheaper, but by the time you spend the ~$150, you probably should just spend the extra hundred and get a tuner.
Theres not just a simple wire to cut with the govenor. Its all in the PCM, and if you start tampering with sensors you will just start getting error codes or unwanted operation. The only simple way to up the speed limiter is get bigger tires; seriously.

My last truck i had the speed limiter set to 200mph. of course i never hit the limiter lol. I did get it to 158mph once. Probably a good thing i sold it before i killed myself in it. Turbo charged anything is just plain addictive exceleration rush.

wow excuse me!? lol the army does not consider my arms Weapons yet its still all in paperwork so pray they dont otherwise i have to sleep in the ARMS room every night! no fun for me!
