Hey guys, whats goin on?
Question here, My 4.7 has 60,000 Kms on her.
The darn thing keeps losing oil, not sure how...
No blue smoke, no leaks underneath... anyone got any ideas?

What does accuracy have to do with which system is used? Mathematics is the same, whether using STD or Metric...in any capacity. Decimal points can be used, and are helpful with precise measurements. And "1-1.5" in any system is not an accurate measurement what so ever. So...I respectfully disagree.
On to your issue: Have you performed a compression or leak down test in each cylinder? That would be the first thing I would do to verify or eliminate compression rings as the cause of failure.

According to Chrysler Corperation 1 quart per 1000 miles consumption is with in factory spec. Go figure I have 210xxx miles on my 05 Quadcab 4.7 and it uses about 3/4 of a quart oil every 1200 to 1400 miles been that way for as long as I can remember. I just keep an extra quart in truck and check it often.

Hey guys a quick update. Something weird is happening here.
The other day testing to see some blue smoke, I was driving on the highway and floored it a couple times.
Some black smoke came out, nothing out the ordinary really, but something I noticed when I checked my oil after my run was that the oil level went up just passed the fill mark. That was on this past Saturday.
Checking the oil again today, it has now fallen just below the full line on the dip stick.
Any ideas whats going on?
