Default Squeak after struts

Hey I installed Rancho RS5757 struts awhile back and every since then it has squeaked this annoying little sounds like a mouse squeak. I can bounce on the front of the truck and make it do it, or just driving it does it.

I also redid the front end at the same time with Moog but from the sounds of it it sounds like the strut. I've sprayed the crap out of everything with WD. Still does it.

I've noticed in the rain it stops which is odd since WD doesn't work. I'm about to point or ripping the whole thing apart again. I've noticed when bouncing on the truck you can hear a bang almost like struts aren't tight and are hitting. Anyone else hear this after installing Ranchos or do I have something not right? Any ideas

WD 40 is a water displacement fluid. it's not a a lubricant in any way. use a good quality silicone spray and try and lubricate the lower strut mount. that would be the most likely place for the squeak to be coming from.

Also check your sway bar mounts, the ones on the frame. they could also be squeaking after years of use and by fluke started squeaking at the same time as the strut replacement.

Good thinking on the silicone. I wasn't thinking of that with the water making it quiet. It rained the last two days so I got to test it out and it didn't make a noise. It's definitely a lubrication issue. I'll go grab some tonight and spray the crap out of everything.

When I did the front end I did upper control and ball joints, lower ball, tie rod ends and I think I did sway bar links as well, can't remember on that one. That was all done this summer and thats when the squeaking started.

I always grease the bushings when installing them to prevent squeeks
