exhaust question

Default exhaust question

hello all,
im looking at getting an aftermarket muffler. im interested in the thrush welded. has anyone installed this and have feedback on it. i have an 05 4.7. also anywhere in ontario canada i can get it cheap? does it matter which one i get?

what is it like if i just remove the resonator and leave exhaust. or remove exhaust and leave resonator? im looking for an aggressive sound but dont want a loud drone on highway.

i pulled the muffler and rear resonator and it droned. sounded ok, but not interstate friendly. i then yanked the muffler and replaced it with a straight pipe and left both resonators. more aggressive, no drone. i would like a better sound, but its really good for next to nothing cost.

seeing how you live in a high salt area for winters, stay away from junk mufflers, go stainless steel, a sweet Gibson or magnaflow will work great, I've junkmasters before and after 3 yrs they rust out because of the contents they put on the roads for winter
