I had BF Goodrich Long Trail TA's on mine when I got it. Decent tire, switched to Hankook Dynapro ATM's when the first set wore out. I never had any issues. Did great in rain or snow. Personally I don't have an issue with Chinese tires. They are plentiful and reasonably priced. That being said, I always purchase a tire warranty. Seems like everything is made in China these days anyway.
From what I've found they are made in Indonesia and have a 3 ply side wall instead of the two ply like duratrac and they are cheaper than duratrac from what I've found
I bought some Sumitomo's for my car 7 years ago. Wasn't happy that they were made in China, but I got 90,000 miles out of em. Farthest I've ever went on a set of tires, also cheapest lol. Got lucky on that set.
