Default Code P0706

Every once in a while, the check engine lite comes on for my 2005 dodge dakota 4.7 and has a code P0706. Frequently the light goes out and it shifts just fine. When the light is on, the transmission does not shift into overdrive. I believe it is a sensor. Which one? and where will I find it on my truck?

Stubbers, nobody looks in this section - post this in the main 3rd Gen section.

I just had that problem and it turned out to be the temperature sensor in the solenoid pack in the trans was sending a faulty signal
to the main computer. We change the two wires leading from the sensor and the light hasn't come back on.
The part number on my Dakota was 545RFE, and the sensor is built in.
