Default Bank 1 Sensor 1 upstream 02 sensor

Hey guys, just was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks to disconnect the upstream 02 drivers side o2 sensor from the wiring harness? The connector is jammed way up between the transmission and firewall, plus its behind the two hardlines that run between. It looks like its clipped or something as well by this ziptie with a round insert clip type thing. It also doesn't seem to have any slack in the wire either to really get two hands on it. Any advice at all would be very much appreciated!

Thanks!

You have to cut the ziptie then it's still tough.

Okay, it looks like it's a special factory ziptie with this eyehole on it for the sensor to mount to. but the replacement sensor doesn't have the mounting thing on it. It's ziptied around what looks like the wiring harness? Probably just going to cut it. Such a tough spot to get at!

Been a little while since I did mine, you may want to see if you can get it without cutting it.

My main memory is fighting with this thing for 10 minutes thinking I could unplug it in place. Then I threw in the towel, cut a ziptie and I was able to unplug it.

Then after I installed the new one I had an open circuit code, I did not have it fastened in completely at the plug. I heard a snap when the connector locked in securely.

When I did mine https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...096-p0133.html

That connector does pop out of that eye socket. I remember there being a seperate ziptie for the whole harness though.

Be careful, as the Bosch part number is wrong. Get a Denso. Also the left upstream/right downstream have one type connector and the right upstream/left down stream have a different connector. The difference is subtle so take the sensor or a picture with you when you go.
