Default Abs systems 2009 dakota

I have a 2009 dakota that is in need of front hubs and stab links
my problem is the abs only has one sensor going to the left front wheel nothing to the right and no loose connectors in the eng comp for the right
also no abs light on dash
is this a common thing for dodge or did someone remove the right front

That's normal, because your truck came with only rear wheel ABS. One side has always been connected with only rear wheel ABS. If both sides were connected, then you would have had the optional 4 wheel ABS, which came with the 'Extra Security Package' in 09.

EXTRA SECURITY PACKAGE — Includes front disc/rear drum with 4-wheel ABS and supplemental side-curtain air bags

Welcome aboard.
